It is a suite of exploits, malware, and infrastructure designed to exfiltrate data from mobile devices.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fd68243 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fd68243\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>What are Apple doing about it?<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e4c5075 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e4c5075\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Apple<\/strong> told <a href=\"https:\/\/thehackernews.com\/2023\/04\/israeli-spyware-vendor-quadream-to-shut.html\">The Hacker News<\/a> last week that there was no indication to suggest that the exploit, codenamed <strong>ENDOFDAYS<\/strong>, had been put to use since the company released iOS 14.4.2 in March 2021. In December 2022, <a href=\"https:\/\/thehackernews.com\/2022\/12\/facebook-cracks-down-on-spyware-vendors.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meta disclosed<\/a> that it took down a network of 250 fake accounts on Facebook and Instagram that were controlled by QuaDream to infect Android and iOS devices and exfiltrate personal data &#8211; an operation that spanned roughly 70 countries across 42 languages.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9cb65e0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9cb65e0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The shutdown of QuaDream, a notorious Israeli spyware vendor, is a significant development in the fight against cyber espionage.
